People with a wide spectrum of disabilities, ranging from spinal injuries to autism, benefit from equine-assisted services. Using Equine-Assisted Therapeutic Riding, individuals may improve both physically & psychologically (e.g., demonstrating increased attention, motivation, and communication skills).
MISSION AND VISION
We provide equine-assisted activities and therapies to children and adults with special needs, while supporting the physical, mental, and emotional health of each individual in their interaction with horses and staff. . B.R.E.A.THE. is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization.
New Riders must complete the Rider Registration Packet and submit it to BREATHE via email or mail.

Please note, the packet must have the signed Physician's Statement included in order to be considered complete.
Completed packets will be reviewed for initial eligibility. If your rider appears eligible, he/she will be invited to attend an intake appointment, where we will evaluate whether BREATHE will be suited for the rider's needs.
The intake assessment will be charged as one lesson period and fee is due at time of appointment.
Equine-Assisted services and therapeutic riding have increased in popularity and gained recognition world-wide as an effective aid for the development of many life skills. BREATHE serves individuals age four through adult faced by any number of life challenges.
